Eddie O'Toole - Managing Director
Eddie has over 16 years’ experience in the Homecare Sector having been the Operations Director of Bluebird Care (Ireland) from its inception in 2008 to when he became Managing Director of Bluebird Care (Dublin South) in January 2017. A former Director and Vice-President of Home and Community Care Ireland (HCCI), Eddie has been involved in many projects and processes in conjunction with The Health Service Executive at a senior level and has gained vast experience in running a successful and quality driven Homecare Services business. “Bluebird Care (Dublin South) has gone from strength to strength over the last number of years and that is undoubtably due to the exceptional team of Carers, Nurses and indeed Administration staff that, together with our focus on the quality of care provided, makes a real and positive difference to the lives of so many people within our community.
Alan Murphy - Director of Quality, Risk & Compliance
‘Alan brings to Bluebird care considerable experience in the area of healthcare Risk management , Quality and compliance having spent 20 years working in this area. His main focus is on ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and to also ensure we are delivering services of the highest quality.
Nathan Sweeney - Head of Operations
Nathan had been working as a hospitality manager for several years within Ireland and the UK. He loves working with people and ensuring they are being looked after. Bluebird was the perfect opportunity for Nathan to transfer those skills to help ensure we are recruiting the best talent and keeping the team happy & engaged.
Deirdre Carpenter - Head Of Clinical Services
As a Registered General Nurse with over 23 years' experience in community and home care services, I am passionate about leading, developing, and supporting clinical teams to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality care within the home setting. I am committed to empowering staff, building confidence, and fostering a positive and supportive culture where teams can thrive and provide the highest standards of patient care. My experience in clinical leadership, workforce planning, service development, and home care delivery enables me to lead teams effectively while ensuring robust clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement across all service.
Sinead Doyle- Clinical Nurse Manager 2 - Head of Department Complex Care
Sinead, our Paediatric Clinical Nurse Manager 2, has dedicated her career to paediatric nursing, bringing a wealth of experience across all areas of the field. After living and working in the UK for 11 years, she joined Bluebird Care Dublin South in 2022. Sinead oversees a team of nurses who provide care to children in their homes, always striving to uphold the highest standards to ensure our young people receive the best possible care.
Simon Palmero- Clinical Nurse Manager 1
I Pursued my nursing degree in Finland, driven by a deep passion for this profession. Being a nurse has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. With 25 years of nursing experience, I've had the privilege of caring for patients ranging from transitional one-week-old babies to seniors over 100 years old. It’s been a joy to provide holistic care to the patients, addressing not just their medical needs but also supporting their families and friends. Each experience reaffirms my love for nursing and the meaningful connections I’ve built over the years. Having the opportunity to bring this passion to Bluebird Care is truly exciting
Aisling Mulhall - Clinical Nurse Manager 1
Since qualifying as an Intellectual Disability Nurse in 2022, Aishling has experience working with both adults and children with complex care needs across a range of services. Aishling has gone on to do a postgraduate in paediatric palliative/complex care. With experience in providing person-centered care, Aishling aims to build trusting relationships with both children and their families to help promote independence, comfort and overall well-being.
Lorraine Ryan - Clinical Nurse Educator
I have extensive experience in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while effectively managing complex interdisciplinary environments. I am recognized for my ability to establish strong relationships with service users, children, their families, and multidisciplinary teams through excellent communication and interpersonal skills. With a commitment to continuous professional development, I recently earned my master's in clinical health science education as a registered nurse tutor, and my Teacher Council Registration This allows me to share my knowledge and mentor others in the field. My strong leadership and managerial skills enable me to adapt and make effective decisions in fast-paced, evolving healthcare environments.
Roxana Radvan- Clinical Nurse Manager 2
Roxana finished Nursing School in Romania in 2017 trained in an Intensive Care Unit. After which moved to Ireland, to do Nursing, which gave her a position in the Nursing Homes in Co. Cork and following on to Dublin. Roxana will be a Team leader for our Health Care Assistants, bringing her experience and knowledge to support our HCA's out on the road.
Nicola Lynch - Clinical Nurse Manager 2
Nicola is the Clinical Nurse Manager at Bluebird Care and brings 29 years of nursing experience across a variety of healthcare settings. Her background includes oncology, palliative care, dermatology, and community nursing, with experience in both the public and private sectors. Nicola is passionate about delivering compassionate, person-centred care and is committed to supporting clients to live safely and independently in their own homes. She is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care while building strong relationships with clients, families, and care teams.

Hunerment Boral - Care Coordinator
Huner brings extensive healthcare experience to his role as Care Coordinator, with a background in physiotherapy, home care, and emergency medical services. He started his career in home care as a Healthcare Assistant, progressing into his current coordination role, which has given him a strong understanding of care delivery from both frontline and operational perspectives. In his role, Huner oversees care planning, coordination, and quality assurance, ensuring services are delivered to the highest standards. He is committed to a person-centered approach, focused on improving outcomes and enhancing quality of life for every client.
Emma White - HR Manager
Emma joins Bluebird Care Dublin South as HR Manager, bringing experience across a variety of sectors including finance, tech, retail, consultancy and homecare. With a real passion for people and a particular interest in employee relations, Emma enjoys problem-solving, building trust and helping create positive workplaces where teams feel supported, valued and able to do their best. She is delighted to be back in the homecare sector, where the work has such positive and meaningful impact on people’s lives. Emma is excited to join the incredible team at Bluebird Care bringing her experience to the role and of course, learning plenty along the way!
Caitriona O'Brien- Head of Recruitment
Caitriona O’Brien has been part of the Dublin South team since 2022, bringing with her many years of experience in the beauty industry. In her role as Recruitment Manager, she oversees internal and community-based recruitment, as well as international recruitment for Dublin South. Caitriona’s background in client and customer engagement supports her people-focused approach to recruitment. She enjoys working with people and brings a warm, approachable personality to the role, which helps her build strong connections with candidates and colleagues alike. She recently completed a qualification as a HR Management Specialist through UCD, further strengthening her work in this front-facing role.
Hannah Fagan - Recruitment Administrator
Hannah is a member of the admin & recruitment team here at Bluebird Care Dublin South. Working closely alongside Caitriona our head of recruitment to assist with the day to day operations of the recruitment process. Hannah is a recent human resource management graduate from the National College of Ireland, where she discovered her passion for recruitment & developed her skills.

Kerri Rogers - Social Media Coordinator
Kerri is the Social Media Coordinator at Bluebird Care Dublin South. An experienced Social Media Coordinator with a strong background in managing day-to-day social media operations, maintaining brand consistency, and supporting digital communications across multiple platforms. Skilled in content scheduling, community engagement, trend awareness, and ensuring a professional and consistent online presence aligned with company objectives. Alongside my in-house role, I also run a creative agency specialising in social media management and content creation. This combination of corporate and entrepreneurial experience provides a well-rounded understanding of brand communication, audience engagement, and the evolving digital landscape.
