Kieran Hallinan — Director
Kieran Hallinan has led Bluebird Care Northeast since 2011, building the organisation into one of the most respected home care providers across Louth, Cavan, and Monaghan. His focus has always been straightforward: help people remain independent in the homes they love, supported by care they can trust. With a background in healthcare management and a Chartered Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH), Kieran brings both rigour and genuine compassion to everything he does. Beyond Bluebird Care Northeast, he serves as a Board Director of Home and Community Care Ireland (HCCI), contributing to the shaping of home care policy and practice at a national level.
Tina Onyszko — Care Manager (CNM)
As Care Manager at Bluebird Care Northeast, Tina Onyszko is the clinical backbone of the organisation. A Registered Nurse, she oversees the day-to-day delivery of care services across the region, ensuring every client receives support that is safe, effective, and genuinely tailored to their needs. Tina leads and supports the care team through supervision, training, and hands-on guidance, while maintaining full compliance with regulatory standards and best practice. She works closely with clients, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team — bringing clinical expertise, calm leadership, and real compassion to every aspect of her role.
Maria Finan — Care Supervisor
With more than 13 years at Bluebird Care Northeast, Maria Finan is a cornerstone of the team. As a Care Supervisor, she ensures that care is delivered consistently, safely, and in keeping with each client's individual plan — through regular reviews, field supervision, and spot checks that keep standards high. Maria is a steady, supportive presence for both carers and clients alike. Her experience and calm approach mean that changes in client needs are spotted early and responded to quickly — and that the people in her care are always in good hands.
Lorraine McDonnell — Care Supervisor
Lorraine McDonnell is one of Bluebird Care Northeast's Care Supervisors, working closely with care teams in the field to ensure services are delivered to a consistently high standard. She carries out regular spot checks and reviews, supports carers with ongoing training and guidance, and makes sure care plans are followed accurately and safely. Lorraine's hands-on style and strong communication skills help create continuity of care for clients and confidence for the carers she supports. She's a dependable presence across the service, always focused on doing things right.
Sarah Fleming — Senior Coordinator & Scheduler
Sarah Fleming keeps the operational heart of Bluebird Care Northeast running smoothly. As Senior Coordinator and Scheduler — a role she's held for over three years — she's responsible for planning and managing care visits across the region, balancing client needs, staff availability, and the kind of attention to detail that makes the difference between good care and great care. Sarah liaises daily with Home Support services, social workers, healthcare professionals, and families, ensuring that care is coordinated and responsive at every turn. She also supports recruitment and compliance, monitoring training records and keeping the team on track. A graduate of Maynooth University, Sarah is a trusted point of contact for clients, families, and colleagues throughout the organisation.
Alanna Mackie — Coordinator & Scheduler
Alanna Mackie plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of Bluebird Care Northeast, coordinating care visits and managing schedules to make sure clients receive consistent, well-organised support. She works closely with carers and clients to keep things running smoothly, adapting quickly when needs change and ensuring every arrangement reflects the individual at its centre. Alongside her scheduling work, Alanna supports the team with administrative and compliance tasks — keeping records accurate and documentation up to date. Her organisational skills and flexible approach make her a reliable and valued part of the team.
Emma Lyons — Practice Supervisor
Emma Lyons brings specialist knowledge and a thoughtful approach to her role as Practice Supervisor at Bluebird Care Northeast. A Registered Nurse in Intellectual Disabilities (RNID), Emma focuses on clients with complex or high-level care needs — ensuring their support is safe, consistent, and genuinely person-centred. She works alongside care teams, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and monitor tailored care plans, and provides practical guidance to staff navigating complex situations. Emma's clinical expertise, combined with a compassionate and collaborative style, makes a real difference to the outcomes of some of the organisation's most vulnerable clients.
