Can I take this opportunity to thank Bluebird, particularly Jackie, Nicola and Paula who have proven absolutely wonderful with Joe. Each assisted Joe retain upmost dignity and remain in his own home as his condition declined whilst always providing a compassionate, understanding and kind hearted service. It was almost as if each carer was looking after their own father …. we could not have asked more from them.

Also it gave me great peace of mind knowing than on the occasions when I could not be there in person for Joe, I knew he was in safe hands.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the ‘Bluebird Girls’ who cared for my Father, Thomas Butler. Their caring manner, patience and kindness was so much appreciated and impacted so positively on my father. He looked forward to their visits and spoke so highly of them all. Their unceasing humour and cheerfulness helped him through each day. The kind ladies that looked after my father went above and beyond the role of a carer and it was evident from their visits that they truly cared. We are truly thankful for everything they did.

I didn’t want to let the payment of this invoice pass without putting on paper my appreciation of the service Bluebird Care provided to my parents. All of the various ladies who supported mum and dad were excellent, but Laura’s support was absolutely exceptional.

Laura has an extraordinary way about her; she is involved, interested, attentive but most of all she genuinely cares. I think the level of humanity and understanding she displayed to mum and dad was far better than anything I, as their daughter, could ever feel and display. She was patient, thoughtful and incredibly kind. Mum said to me on numerous occasions that she believed that Laura liked her as a person. My mother is from an older generation in the West of Ireland and she is innately suspicious of people and their motives but she was never able to be suspicious of Laura. Laura always viewed life from my parents’ perspective, not from anyone else’s and her tone and consideration was always gentle and courteous at all times. She was a treasure in our lives during a very challenging period.

I very much hope that mum settles in the nursing home as my personal belief is that, as long as mum and dad are together, their chances of peace and happiness are reasonable. However, if mum doesn’t settle for any reason, I will not hesitate to ask you for your service again. I would also be happy to recommend you at any stage.

I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to all at Bluebird Care for the continuing support you have shown to my parents over the last few months.

It has been an incredibly traumatic time for all my family, and in particular, my parents. I feel it is important to acknowledge how invaluable a service, such as Bluebird Care, and the wonderful carers are to the community and to families in difficult times and situations similar to my family.

Again a sincere thank you to all and I would have no hesitation in recommending your service in the future.

This is simply a thank you for all the care i’m being given. We as a society are quick enough to complain or point out when something is done wrong but we are not quite so quick to compliment when things are done right. I wish to thank all involved in the Bluebird Care company. I have found that one of the hardest things to get used to in all the time I’m unwell is the feeling of being such a burden on those around me. I have gone from being a completely independent person wanting and needing nothing from anybody to being somebody who depends on others for everything. Bluebird Care, from Gracie in the way she constantly checks to make sure everything is going well and constantly asking if there can be anything to improve my care to Tanica, Jackie, Saoirse, Rita and Emer in the way they care for me and tend to my every need. More than this it is all the extra things they do for me and those around me that make me feel a little less of a burden on others and for this I wish to thank them in more than words can say.

Thank you for your care and attention. Grace was a pleasure to meet and very reassuring. Jackie was excellent in every way – nothing was too much for her and she was an excellent cook. We will highly recommend your services.
